The Lady of Sharlott is a painting by the English painter John William Waterhouse. The painting was created as an oil painting on canvas in 1888. The artwork can be seen at Tate Britain in London.  

Details: This Painting shows a scene from Tennyson´s poem in which the poet describes the plight and the predicament of a young woman who longs freely for the figures of Elaine of Astolat from the medieval Arthurian legend, who longed with an unrequited love for the knight Sir Lancelot, isolated under an unknown curse is a tower near King Arthur’s Camelot.
