On the left is Madeline Adeane, in the middle is Pamela Tennant and on the right is Lady Elcho. Sargent painted her in the drawing room of her family´s residence in Belgrave Square. On the Wall above it hangs the portrait of her mother by George Frederic Watts, which establishes her genealogy.
